A form is a set of fields for entering, displaying, and editing data. When we configure a form, we specify, how the page of an item looks: what data it displays, what information users have to enter, which fields can or cannot be edited.
Here is what an app item creation page may look like:

Only the users included in the Administrators group can configure forms.
You can add any number of fields to a form, arrange them, and define their parameters.
There are two ways to open form fields settings:
1. In the left menu of a workspace, click next to an app name and select Form Settings.
2. On an app page, click on the name of any app item. In the opened window, click Form Settings.
The Form Settings window will open. It contains two areas: on the left is the app item form, on the right is the properties pane. You can find more information about all the property types in this article.
Each property on the form is a field on the page. Drag and drop properties from the side panel to add the fields you need.
You can also drag and drop the fields on the form to rearrange them.
After adding fields, you can start configuring them.
Fields are displayed collapsed in the left part of the window. Click on a field to expand it and define its parameters.
You can edit:
|The property name that will be displayed on the forms for creating, viewing, and editing an app item.|
|Property code used when working with API.|
Additional information, which clarifies how to fill in the field on an app item form. E.g. "Enter a mobile phone number as +1 5ХХ ХХХ ХХ ХХ".
|If you select this option, this field will be used as a parameter in app item seach.|
Each property has a set of parameters. For instance, for a Phone number property, you can specify its type - home, work, mobile, etc. For a Money property, you can select a currency, e.g. USD. To learn more about properties and their settings, read this article.
If a field on a creation or editing form must be a required one, click next to the field's name.
Required fields are marked withon the form. If a required field is not filled in, the user will see a warning.
To delete a field click .
After configuring the form, click Save.
If you want to set up different pages for creating, viewing, and editing, switch to the Advanced Mode.
